Some more pics from Jeju, South Korea...

My blog would not let me post anymore pics in my other posting that I did today, so I just made up a seperate posting for Jeju. Here are some more pics...

This is a small mountain that we climed, and this is the view looking down...
This is one of the many beaches in Jeju. This one was a black rock beach. I am sure there is some scientific term for it, but of course, I don't know it. But black rock beach describes it...
This is the BEAUTIFUL & AMAZING flower found about everywhere in Jeju growing wildly...
This is a pic from the Teddy Bear Museum. It was an exhibit made up of entirely bears. Every kind you could imagine. From sculptures, to paintings to stuffed bears. I must say that I was a bit scepticle going to see this, but it was SO cool...
One of the paths we walked through... talk about a euphoric experience...
The happiest baby EVER that I met on one of my bus rides...
My first Korean boyfriend... HA!....
OK, so there is a REALLY cool story that goes with this picture. These rock piles go as far back as you can imagine. These, obviously, are smaller piles that are recently started, but there are much larger ones found everywhere. You can find these all along EVERY walking/climbing paths in Korea. They represent people who have come by and made a wish. Each rock represents someones wish. And of course...
This is the pile that I added my rock too. Can you guess which rock is mine? It's, of course, the heart shaped one. HA! I can even make rocks girlee!

My wish was....

Yeah right, I can't tell you. It won't come true. Alright, that is it for today. Two postings in one day... WHEW!!!! Love and miss you all... still!!!!!

It has been a while, I know...

OK, so I have gotten 'yelled' at by a ton of you as to how long it has been since I have posted a new blog. A LOT has happened since my last blog. I have gone on a mini-vacation, gotten a promotion, not to mention that I have moved into a HUGE apartment, my cousin got married, I have been involved in a TV show here, our summer show is up and running with only one weekend left, my oldest friend had her wedding, I directed a show that was canceled by the government of Korea, I was to perform in the international PAN festival that also got canceled by the government of Korea, went to see a REALLY cool show called "NANTA", went to a Korean Baseball game, wrote another song for our UNICEF fundraiser that is coming up, rehearsing for the UNICEF performance also, and much, MUCH more!!!! Also, I have officially booked my ticket home for a little vacation to the USA!!! I come home on October 2nd and am home until October 7th. I want to see as many people as I possible can!!!! Anyway, I will try to be brief, yet include the important details. And of course, pictures!!!!!

First, I must start with my vacation. I went to Jeju, South Korea. Jeju is a small Island at the southern most part of Korea. They call it the Hawaii of Korea. IT IS BEAUTIFUL!!!! I have never felt so happy and relaxed!!!!...

This is one of the women in Jeju who, to eat, they go down to the shore line and fish for their meals. One of the main things that they fish for are sea urchins. They get them from the water, break them open with a crow bar like the one on the rock, and eat them right there for the most fresh taste possible. I did not eat one, however...
I did hold one!!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! Yes, I am really holding that pointy gross thing!!!! Can you believe it!!!!...
This is ONE of the MANY beautiful spots along the tour of Jeju that I saw. LOOK MOM!!!... Blue water!!!!...

So as a result of my promotion to Shift Leader here at English Village, I got upgraded to a HUGE apartment. No, my address has not changed, so keep sending me mail!!!! I love receiving it!!! It means SO much to me I can't even begin to express to you all who have sent me mail! It is like getting a piece of home. And when you are so far away from home, it is amazing! And YES, that is me begging for MORE MAIL!!! hehehehehe Anyway, here are some pics of my new place...
My bathroom WITH bath tub... "Someone" I know is jealous...
My separate bedroom!.... YAY!!!!...
My HUGE kitchen &...
Living room!!!... Yes that is tile floor... I HATE having to use a mop, but it's worth it!!!...
SBS TV Reality Show in Korea for English Village...
This is a pic of us at the NANTA show. This is a performance (singing, acting, dancing) but they use all cooking supplies. It is kinda like that show "Iron Chef" that is on TV, except it is a live show. SO COOL!!!!...

This is my friend Tara who was one of the people that went to the baseball game. As you can see, the stands are pretty empty. It isn't as popular a sport here as it is in the states. Soccer is the sport here. My dear friend Tara is soon to be leaving EV for, among many things, to get married!!!!! YAY Tara!!!!! You will be misssed!!!!

As you can see, I have been VERY busy. That is just a brief summary of what has been going on in the last month or so with me. I will try to be more diligent in writing and posting pics. PROMISE!!! I miss and love you all!!!!! Hope to see you when I come home for a few days...
